My first Christmas in Germany

Hey there momma!!!

 This week was a goodie.... Wow... it was soooo much fun with all of the members parites they had for us... Oh before i forget... Your gonna totally make fun of me but... I bought glasses... I call them my finding glases, I use them when i go finding and...wow does it work hahahah. The glases dont actually have lenses in them its just glass. The best part about them is they were only like 10 euro and.... WOW do i look handsome with them on hahahah.

 

Well momma as far as missionary work... This week was terriable hahaha... We had only one innactive member lesson this week and that was it... Besides that we didnt get anything, we didnt find anyone, we didnt teach any investagators... We didnt get squat. The member appointmest were awesome though... We were invited to members on the 24 the 25 and the 26 because they celebrate all three of those days here in Germany?? I guess all three of the days are christmas!! But for the main christmas day, which is the 24 we got fed this giant turkey dinner ( I forgot ´how much i have already told you so...). The second day we were invited to the Bishofs family and they had a huge dinnder for us and fandu... I dont know how to spell it... Its like the bread in melted cheese and chocolate and stuff?? You know what im talking about?? After that we went to this chineese lady and she was awesome... She is an innactive member but she wanted us over for chrismas... SHe is probably my new best friend... She is way cool. She owns her own buisness and she sells watches... But like really expensive watches... And she is loaded... Her appartment has 3 levels...  She is also a huge fashion desgin person and super huge in England?? But she told me i have good style and she wants to go shopping with us on Mondays now hahaha. She is only like 30 so she is pretty young and super cool! But she have us the weirdest food of my life... She gave us pig heart.... But holy crap did it taste good!!

 

Hey momma... I dont have too much time because i have an appointments in a little bit.. do you thinkg you can just chat with me??

 Oh and i dont know the dat of when i would be back yet but... I will soon... I am hoping we can go sight seeing on our other P-Day this week. Everything in Germany is closed on Mondays so we cant do alot of tourist things becuase on our pdays everything is closed. So I am hoping we can do something later this week.

Oh and mom did I tell you with my new glasses I have super powers. Yep I can read minds now. Im pretty much a big deal.

Hey there momma!!! WOW.... Can i just say thanks soooo much for the package... WOW can i just say the packgage you sent me is awesome.... The only thing is... I havent opened it yet... Well I opened the P90x because i couldnt resist!!! But, the rest of the presents Im saving till chistmas... Us elders have a christmas tree in our appartment and put all of our presents from home under it!! So i dont know whats in the other ones... Im guessing slippers and pjs hahahah. I know that now because you just told me but, I will act suprised when i open it like i didnt know what it was gonna be!!! hahah

 

 Oh well the Chrismas party was way cool....There were soooo many missionaries there..... I think 250... It was way good, it was just like any other missionary confrence. Well at the end we watched a movie, nothin too exciting we just watched 17 miricals. I was hoping like the hobbit or something hahahaha!!!  I tried to start a chant that said Hobit hobit..It was a long shot though ahahaha! It was good Pres gave a good lesson!! 

 Well things here in Hamburg are awesome actually... Im still home sick... Sorry... I dont wanna lie but Im still home sick... But we are kickin butt here! Me and Elder Gibson are dong some really good work here!! Im super stoked about that! Well me and him were a little dissappointed about this Sunday. Ricardo couldnt make it to church.... He had some stuff come up and couldnt make it... He had a good excuse though so im not mad... His mom had some health issues. We are meeting with him again this week we have two appointment set up with him for this week! He is doing good but he still doesnt understand why this authority of priesthood is sooo important! He comes from a cathloic back round so... Thats taking a little time to expülane that!! But he loves meeting with us and really wants to find the true church! 
 

 Oh my goodness..... You have got to be kidding me.... Dad really did a back flip in the middle of the tourniment??? Oh why couldnt I have been there.... Ahhhhh that is sooo stinkin funny!!! Im worried about ethan... though... Is he a little scared of wrestling??? I hope he doesnt feel forced to wrestle... I hope he enjoys it!!! I would also like it if he found other things fun instead of just video games.... 

Oh wow.... Tell will thanks a lot and thanks to you too momma for going through all of that work for me!!! My route that i would like to go for football is some where where I can play and not have to stress about the game sooo much and go to school and do good in school!! You see what im saying... Thats why i had dixie in mind... Because i know they arent very good and it would be easier to be on the team and not stress about it too much! 

Oh and about skype 10 o clock your time and on christmas day... That is the only time that i can do it.... I hope that works for you... let me know next monday if that doesnt work and i will try to change somethings!!! 

Well it sounds like things are a little all over the place right now with christmas.... I hope you are all having fun!!! Chistmas here is super beautiful!!! They really go all out here!!!

Hey there momma!! Well I hope you are starting to get used to my new times... I know its a little different every day but... Thats how my comp likes it so thats what we are doing for now just expect me to be on around this time for now on!!! 

 Well, how is everthing going momma!!! Well, i can tell you right off the bat that im as home sick as it gets right now hahaha... Well me and everyone in the appartment are very home sick right now haha... Just this morning all we talked about is old christmas traditions hahahah We also went through all of our family photos together hahah... We are just making ourselfs more home sick. Yeah the christmas here is cool but... I dont really get to do anything fun.. I just have to do the same ole stuff.... Im not bitter so dont think im sad im actually doing pretty good. It actually doesnt help that my comp and Elder Lüning are both going home in like 2 transfers and all they talk about is home.... Ugh.... That makes things hard hahah! 
 

 Oh I havent really told you about the other elders im rooming with... Im with Elder Cannon and Elder Lüning... Elder Connon is from Canada and elder connon is from provo. Elder Lüning is soooo cool, he is a fighter.. Like u.f.c fighting stuff... ME and him have of course already wrestled... hahahah.... He is like the most ripped guy i have ever seen... he is way strong... he didnt beat me and i didnt beat him... It was kinda a draw.. he is sooo funny though... We make fun of him for his funny canadian accent... 

 Well this week was actually a good one as far as missionary work goes... Elder Gibson ( My comp) Said our numbers havent ever looked this  good in a while, guess im doing somehting right hahahah!? We met with Ricardo again and it went really good he is very accepting and making really good progress. We have another appointment tomorrow with him!!! We are gonna invite him to baptism tomorrow... Like pick out a date with him to work twards! So wish me luck with that! We have had some really good inactive work happen here too!!! Im pretty stoked about the work me and elder gibson are doing actually! Me and him actually teach very well together... I never would have though but in lessons with each other we do very good! 

Oh... Mom... I have some bad news... Remember my swoop hair cut I had.... Yeah... Well... Its gone... Im super sad... Pres said i needed a hair cut.... so I tried to give my self a hair cut.... Well it doesnt look bad but.... I thought it would be a lot longer than it is.... Im really sad.... 

Well mom... Im gonna buy myself a coat today... do you remember how much money you put inot my accout?? I didnt go shopping last monday so i didnt use that money!!! So if you could tell me how much money i can pull out!! 

Wow.... It sound like everyone is doing good... It made me giggle to hear dads story with the remote.... Gosh i miss that man hahaha!!!! He is sooo funny some times hahah! I just miss being home actually! It sounds like you and dad are gonna have a good aniversiary...? Is that really what you guys do ever aniversary??? You guys need to go and do something fun like indoor sky diving!!! That sounds like an aniversary actitity!!!! I sure do miss you lots momma!!! 

Oh and if its too much to ask do you think you could send me some music by miechal buble'.... It is approved and his music is amazing!!!

Hamburg

Well Hello there momma!!! Well Hamburg is huge!!! It is almost a little too much for me to handle hahahah Oh so my adress is possmoorweg 21 b Hamburg 22301. Yeah... I have never seen soo many people in my life till I came here.. Its nutz here!! I will be honest... I miss Bremen.... I loved that city soooo much, I know Hamburg is big and yeah its cool to see a big city but, I just miss my Bremen, That city is were I met some of the coolest peole of my life and probably the coolest members ever! The members here in Hamburg are cool.. well there are a couple here but... its just not the same... I really loved the members in Bremen.... There was actually more members in Bremen as in Hamburg.... As far as companion goes, my new comp is a good guy. we are just working on getting to know each other a little better... He loves the work though... WOW... He is a great guy, he just needs to loosen up a little bit hahah. He is also an older missionary.. He goes home in like two transfers or one i dont remember hahah. 

 

Well this week wasnt too bad. This program is struggling a little bit.. I think i know what to do to boost it a little bit though. Just last Saturday I got us a new investagator. I went through the phone and looked at all of the contacts in the phone and just started calling all of them to see who still has interest. We came acoss this, his name is Ricardo... he is a great guy a little shy but still cool. He is from spain but speaks perfect German and very little english. We had a very good lesson with him though. We taught him about the restoration yesterday and we have our next appointment with him today and it should go pretty good. Elder Gibson and i teach pretty good together and im excited to be in more lessons with him.

 

I am a little concerned about the area here though... it is really struggling... I thought the work would be throught the roof here but... Not really... Well I guess the other elders here are actually doing very good here ( The zone learders) We actually room with them. But, they had 3 baptisms last transfer... But its our program between me and my comp that is struggling and the ward itself..  Like Bremen had more members than here... I dont know what the deal is...

 

 Well.... i am sad that i missed thanks giving.... ugh... Thanks giving was always one of my fav hollidays at home... it looks like you all had a lot of fun though... the pictures look fun!!! I am going to the christmas market today in hamburg so that should be a lot of fun!!! This city is huge.. I get lost all the time.. I have no idea where im going most of the time... I havent had time to go shopping yet but i cant wait to do that... Its gonna be soo cool! Its bad though... When i go shopping i buy stuff i cant even wear as a missionary... Yeah... I dont know whats gotten into me hahaha

 

Well momma I hope everything is going good!!! Oh and thanks for the extra money!!! Im sooo excited to go out and buy some stuff!!! Im super stoked that Ethan has his first tournament coming up!! He is gonna do great I know he willl! And dad and his power lifting stuff coming up.... hahahaha... I wish i could be there to see this... He always makes me laugh when it comes to stuff like this!! I hope you are also dooing good momma! Im glad you didnt have to stress out about thanksgiving tooo much this year! I sure do love you all a lot and I hope you can chat with me momma
