Hey there momma! Thank you soooo much for all things you do for me! I just wanted to start off by saying that! Well, I cant say that this week was a good one... All of our appointments fell out this week and we travled soooooo much this week! The only thing that i did cool this week was that i went to poland! But shhhhhhh dont tell anyone i could get in a little trouble for that! This week because im zone leader i had to go on exchange with an elder that serves on the Germany and Poland border and there is like no real border its just a bridge that connects the two contries together. So when i went on exchange with this elder me and him walked on this bridge all the way up to the border because we wanted to get up as close as we could before breaking any rules. The only thing is, it there is no line that dertimes where the countries are devided so we just went really really close and said that we were in poland!! :) I have a picture of it too!! :) The funny thing is that you can tell a huge diference between the two contries just on the border! 

 

Well im gonna be honest. I dont have like anytime to email this week. I have sooo much going on. I have an appointment in an hour and it takes a long time to get there. I just want you to know that, the 50 dollars you sent me just saved my life... I have had like no money because i have had to travel soooo much and because of hollidays here my money is not coming back very fast so i have been forced to use my personal money to get by for now.... So thank you thank you thank you. Because of you i was able to buy enough food to eat today!!! I Love you soooo much momma!!!!

Hey there momma! This week was good. We found a bunch of people! We found 5 new investagators... Thats a big deal for this zone because i guess before i got here we had a huge finding problem.. Like the program that im in found like 2 to 3 new people to teach in one whole transfer and we found 5 in a week. Things are turning around here and im really happy to see that. 

Im gonna be honest though, I dont really like doing this whole zone leader thing.. Everytime we have a problem in our zone pres gives me a call and then im suppose to fix it somehow..? Then it also stresses me out that i am in a train too much.. I dont really like traveling too much. Like its cool to see the new places and stuff but... Then when i get to the new place i have to evaluate the whole exchange witht the missionary. I dont like it too much because i dont like to judge too much. I also just dont like having the title zone leader.. hahah. Well thats enough of me talkin about how much i dont like being a zone leader. Im still happy dont worry about me!! :) 

Well I dont have too much to talk about this week, nothing really happend. I have talked to uwe a little bit but nothing too special right now. I know he is stil on the right way to baptism but he is gonna take just a little longer. He has had some stuff happen to him this week and he is really really stressed out and i needs a little space but he called me last nigtht and we talked for a little bit. He will be fine. 

It sounds like you are all doing great!!! Thanks for the joke. That was really really funny!! I miss you all soo much. Ethan is actually going to efy? I have never been tell him to tell me how it goes because i would love to know hahahah. 

Its soo weird that skype was just last week... Im ready for another one!! I loved seeing you all last week and it made me miss home a lot. Dont think im home sick... You cant make me not home sick.. I have been home sick since the day I left home hahaha! I do love my mission, I just like home a little better hahah. It was also good to listen do dad council me again ahahah. I love gettin my words of wisdom from jerbear!!! 

So what is the news with Alyssa? Is she gonna get out of Idaho or now?? This whole thing has been going back and forth for a long time now... Like since Feb, I hope they figure something out. Keep me updated on how they are doing. I get a little worried about them sometimes. 

Thank you soo much for sending me a package!!! I dont need anything else :) Thank you sooo much!! I love that you are sending me some more protine. I need to start getting a little faster and stronger! Its acutally good, in our new appartment there is an elder his name is elder slinker, and he is really fast!! Like really fast! he was and is a 100 meter runner. He is gonna do it after his mission for school. He is gonna train me to get a little faster he says hahah! :)

Well momma werner straße 38 Dresden! The zip code... I have no idea hahahah! Well, I would love it if you came back and picked me up! That would be a blast and i would really really love to show you Germany. I dont know if Pres would apporve that though because i am going home earlier and then i tour around. Personaly I dont have a problem with that and I would love every second of it but i just dont know what pres would think..? If you ask him first and if he says yes then lets do it!!! :)

 It was super awesome to talk to you all yesterday!! I hope you had a wonderful mothers day! I just relized that i never wished you a happy mothers day... I feel really bad ;( Im super sorry!!

Im going to Dresden

Hey there momma! Well there is a bit of news this week... Well you already know it but i was made Zone Leader this week, I dont know what Pres is thinking haha! Me Zone Leader? How does he expect anything to happen hahaha just kidding! :) But it was really funny becasue i totally dont want to be a zone leader but i am willing to do it! :) It was funny when I got the phone call that i would be made zone leader because i was just talkin with the other elders at that moment and said "I never ever want to be a zone leader" right as I said that i get this phone call from pres assuming that i forgot to give him the weekly numbers or something. I answered the phone and he told me " Elder Schmidt, you will now be a Zone Leader in Dresden." Right as he said that i just told him NO! He laughed and said have fun... The funny thing is that i am going back to my old companion Elder suffert, the Brasilian dude! 

You also nailded it, I went to Berlin this week and was forced to attend the most boring meeting of my life... I alsmost fell asleep! It was the silly little meeting for the zone leader and we had to talk about how to make goals for the zones and stuff! The only real cool part of that was that i was in Berlin. I was just a little frustrated the whole time because our mission is making a crap load of goals and most of the missionaries dont ever know the goals when we make them. I hate have a goal there to try to motovaite me... I feel like the goal should be perfection... The goal should be to baptise every person that we talk to.. I understand that doesnt happen but... Im just really bittter about goals hahaha! This is just me rammbling right now! The biggest part of me being a zone leader that scares me is that i need to be an example... hahahahah, what kind of example does pres think i am!? 

Well a little bit more news... Well because of me being Trnasfered to Dresden and i wont be here to baptise that one guy that has investagated the church for a long time i called pres about it and he said that he would pay for the train ticked back to Hamburg on the 16 to baptise  Uwe! Im soooo excited and so is uwe, I told him the news this morning! Uwe did say something to me yesterday that almost made me cry though... He was telling me about how much i have changed his life.. He flat out told me that if i didnt come on a mission he probably would never get baptised. He said that i touched his life like no other missionary has before... It was really sweet! The cool thing is that now that me made this decision to be baptised everything in his life is starting to fall into place! He is doing really really good! 

Well i leave tomorrow at 11 in the morning and not too excited to leave... A lot of the members did not want me to leave... I dont want to either! I love it here in hamburg! This is by far my fav city of my mission! I will make the best of Dresden though! I am pretty good at making everything fun!!! 

Oh just a little side note... I just ripped my suit pants... I need to buy a replacement before i leave hamburg!!! I hate asking for money... But a little would be nice to replace the rip... I wanted to try to sew it back together and the rip is too bad to replace such a rip says the lady in the ward... 

Well im glad everyone is doing sooooo good! Its sounds like life is just going forward... Nothing too much has changed. Ethan wrote me an email this week. He seems pretty beat up about this whole think... I feel really bad for him. I feel like that talk that sent to my from john bytheway would be really goood for him to read... Its sooo sad that, that keeps happening in lone peak... So rough.. 

Ahhhh dang... I really wanted alyssa to get out of Idaho....  I hope they figure something out really really fast! I feel like faster the better!!! 

Well my momma! It sounds like you are doing really really good this week!  Im not sure when that for you is?? Just wanted to let you know!! Oh and momma! Do you think you could send me some family history and pictures to go with that! We are doing this family history thing as a mission and we are suppose to ask our parents for a little info! That would be awesome if i could get an email about that next week!! :)
