Hello there momma! Well this week was a little slow actually, we didnt find as many people as we could have but we are still woking on building up this program here, its a slow work but we are making progress! :) The goal is just make these people that we have progress! We did find this one new investigator that is super chill she is 17 and super inmature but still fun to teach, I dont know why but I love teaching youth, like in the church or even investigators, I just feel like I understand them pretty well! :) Oh well this new girl that we found her name is sonny and she only wants to speak english with us because she wants to practice but our conversations are always a mix of germany and english, my german is a little better than her english so I help her out a little. But is was really funny how we found her, or well, how she found us hahah. Elder Perkins and I were just walking to the church and this girl was walking in front of us and was listening to our conversation ,becasue we were talking in english but, she just asked us if we were mormon and she said that she has always wanted to go to our church, it was really cool, it showed me that the lord is really preparing people to recieve the gospel!  Oh and Elder Perkins and I are doing really really good together, he is by far one of my fav comp, he is soooo funny! He just doesnt have any shame with people and just does whatever, he runs up to people speaking the best german he can and the people just dont understand him but he gives it his best! I love working with him! He is also a really really good friend! 

Well this week I have also been really into the bible and D&C hahah! I have read the book of mormon like my whole missiona and now im ready for soemthing new but the funny thing is all im learning is just deep doctirine, which is really fun to lean about but its not really gonna help me out as a missionary hahaha! The bible is actually really really fun to read right now, I love just reading about the life of the saviour and seeing how he did missionary work and just trying to get a better feel for his life :) 

Oh well this is some weird news, well im guessing that you probably alredy know! But, I just got an e mail from Katie and she just told me that she is engaged... A little weird but the funny thing is, Im not even mad or sad... Her and I would have never worked out, we talked about it a lot and she just doenst have the same goals as I do in life and the Temple is just not her thing and doesnt want to go into that or have really much to do with the church. We can already see that, it just wouldnt work, the church is my life now... I have felt things and found things in this gosple that I can not deny, I couldnt leave the church now even if I wanted to! Im not really sure what to say back to her though, like im happy for her beasue that is a big thing to get engaged and stuff but she wrote me an email like she was breaking my heart or somthing but I just really dont care... hahahah

Well im stoked for the fam it sounds like you are all doing good and Ellie, I cant wait to see her again ahahah she sounds sooo funny right now! :) What the heck is going on with Ethan right now? If he thinks this is the lesson that is what is suppose to learn from sports, he is way wrong... Come I know that he is better than that... That just hurts to hear that he is just giving up! Your suppose to learn the oppisite from sports, your suppose to learn not to give up and to keep going even when it is hard, I cant relate this back to the atoement, do you think that christ went through everything so that we could just sit back and get a free ride to salvation? He expects that we also suffer a little bit, not the way that he did but also to know what its like to fight for something and to work hard, it is said that if we are not willing to work in the gartens of our father then we wont be able to live with him again, now im not saying that ethan is gonna go to hell for not playing football but im just saying im just a little sad that he is missing the whole point! You didnt sign him up because you thought it would be fun to watch your kid out on the football field but you did it becaue you knew that it would change his life of could.. I just wich he could see the same thing... :( Oh and im soooo stoked for you to start your new job next week! Oh and guess what! Today is my 100 day mark... I think... 

Well im still not sure what I wnat for a package but one thing that i do need is some socks!!!!  hahaha

Sept 23

Hey there momma!!! Well this week was good but also a little sad... We had a good week with the work stuff, which is not the easiest thing in the world, because we are starting up a new program and we are starting from scratch and didnt have anything to work with at the begining but now things are growing a little. We have a total of like 7 investigators right now and we found them all with in the last two weeks hahahah. But it was cool becasue we had one of those guys come to church today, we are getting a lot of help from the lord right now, he has just been putting people right in front of us, its amazing!! Oh well its sad becasue Hanna Moor, the girl that came and visited you last year for christmas is leaving Germany for 6 months... :( She was like one of my best friends and we get along really really good. But her husband is still here in Germany till christmas. My goal is to baptize him before I go home! Hanna asked me too right before she left, she really wants that I keep bringing him to chruch and hopefully baptize him. I think that I have a good chance too because him and I are really really good friends and I think that maybe he will take it better from a friend than some stranger.. Ya know.. 

Well Elder Perkins is loving Germany a lot hahah he is soooo funny, its kinda fun to train because I can look back and see what I was probably like when I first came to Germany. Its funny becasue everytime what we go shopping for fook or something he buys soooo much chocolate and sooooo much dary becasue Germany is really famous or the dairy foods. Everytime we go the people in the store just make soooo much fun of us and my comp just tells everyone that its his first day in Germany in English and everone just says back to him in English Enjoy it! 

Im getting along with Elder Perkins really good right now, he is really really funny and he says the funniest things on the street becasue his german is not very good right now and I just bite my toung and try not to laugh, but it will get better! He is probably one of my best comps, he is just super chill and is not always stressed all the time, But we are woking really really good together. WE are finding really good together and teaching really good. I love the new missionaries a lot because they come from the MTC with a crap load of faith and are just willing to do anything.

Well, momma, this week I have studied the Atonement a lot this last week and its crazy to look back on my mission and see how far the atonement of christ has carried me this far. I look back and think, there is no way that I did that or there is no way that I have come this far. ITs really good for me right now becasue I have never really understood how the atonement could carry someone through hard moments but really he is always helping us but only when we let him in. I have noticed that these last few months, well actually this last year. I remember last year when I left Bremen just thinkin in the train the whole way to Hamburg that I dont want my mission to go on like this and really wanted to change myself, at that moment I really noticed this huge change in me and now when I look back I know that it was really becasue of help I was able to do that, I still have a long way to go but I know that it is possiable with him!!! :) 

YEAH!!! Go Ethan, sounds like he is getting his head on straight and getting in there and doing what he needs to do. Something else that I have learned lately is that it is not enough to do your best but to succeed in doing what is necessary, he is gonna be great if he keeps giving it his all!!! :) 

Tell dad that he is gonna get a pounden when I get home... Im coming home in my Lieder Hosen ready to take on anyone!!! :)

Sept 15

Well momma, let me just get right to your question.... Well you hit the hammer right on the nail.  I feel like I should have saved up more money when I was home to be able to buy more stuff while I am here so I just feel sick when I ask you for money.

Well let me just tell you how this week has been. This week has been nutz!!! I have had like no time to do anything... I have been all over the place hahah... At the begining of the week I was in Berlin from tuesday till thursday and then came to Bremen for a night and then friday afternoon I went back to Berlin to see Bednar and stayed there for the night and then on saturday I came back to Bremen and got back at like 7 and then had like no time to do anything... This last week has been crazy... I am just ready to start a normal week and ready to show my new comp how real missionary work goes. He has been super confused this last little while I feel bad for him hahah. But he is super awesome, he has a good desire to do missionary work and really wants to give his all, so im stoked for that becasue that means I wont have to drag him around and we can just go to town with the work here in Bremen. Something that was really cool though was when I came back and went to church I just kinda assumed that all the members forgot about me but I was really happy to see that all the members here remembered me really really good and where really excited to see me again, well some where some wern't, probably because when I was here last I wasn't the best missionary but I have made some huge changes in my life since then and am a completly diferent person! So im gonna take this chance to make everything right before I go! I mean, how often do I get this chance to come back and make everything right... 

Well Bednar was really really good!!! It was my first time I have ever been in the same room as an apostle. You are totaly right, you can just feel the power when he walks in the room. I was super excited because he is one of my fav apostles!!! The funny thing was, I am taller than he is... I was super suprised, he is a short guy and so is his wife! His wife is super awesome!! It was a little embarrassing at some points because he left some time open to ask questions and some missionaries ask the stupidest questions... Really annoying but there was one funny moment because before he left the time open to ask questions he said that everytime he does this people ask him if he has ever seen him ( Christ) and he told us that, that is a stupid question but then never really said that he hasn't but, the funny thing was... I had that exact question hahahah and a bunch of other missionaries came up to me afterwards and told me that they had the same quesion haha.. 

Well im stoked to hear that everyone is doing awesome... Well I was a little sad to hear how Ethan was doing.. I hope he is doing good. Do you think that you are getting the full stoy or anyting...? Does he jump in on all of the drills or anything? Maybe you or dad need to go spy or something to see if he is jumping in on everything and is really trying his hardest! I hope he is giving his hardest and that this coach is just another idot becasue I know that Ethan is one of the best players on that team!!! I know he has a lot more to offer than he thinks he does!!! 

Well thats good to know that alyssa is doing sooo good, I have been praying a lot for her lately and I just want her to do be happy. I love my brothers and I know that her and I fought a lot but... She has always been one of my best friends. I just want her to be happy and I know that his gosple can do that... Its crazy the changes someone can see when they just try it! I dont know what it is but for some reason you can just see how people will just start to brighten up when they live the gosple, I saw that with UWE oh and cool news... he is coming to visit me next week because Bremen is not far from Hamburg!!! He is getting married in two weeks!!! Super stoked!! He is gonna get sealed in the temple next year in oct in the Manti temple!! Im gonna be there for that!! :) 

Tell dad to bring it!!! I am undefeated right now on the mission.... Well Elder Hardy doesnt count... But im ready to take dad down!!! Slc Airport jan 7th he is gonna go down!!! 

Momma!!!! im soooo stoked that you got the job!!! That is soooo good for you, I knew that you wanted that job and I always thought it was the best thing too! It will be good for you to work form home too! Oh and how hard can the training be, your doing everything on the computer, you can do it momma!!
