Spring time in Germany

Well hello there momma!! Well, this week was acutally really good! We had a little miracle this week...Well i will just get right to it! Well, do you remember that one guy that i told you about. He is really good friends with Dieter F Uchtdorf and he is the manager for this really famous restaurant here in germany and he is also an olympic runner? Yeah... Well we finially got him to commit to baptism.. It was really really cool! He has been investagating the church for over 12 years now and has been a really really strong non member so to say hahah! It was really cool he told me i was like one of his best friends and asked me to do the baptism!!! He is sooooo cool and he is a pretty young guy too he is about 30!! He is honestly like my best friend i have met on my mission because i dont really like other missionaries! He also told me that i am one of the best missionaries he has ever met and that means a lot becuase he has gone through a buznch of missionaries!!!  He is gonna be baptiesed on the 16 of may the only problem is that transfers are on the 3rd of may! I told him that and he said it doesnt matter he will just go to where ever I am to be baptised!!! This is like the happiest I have been on my mission!!! It is honestly soooo cool!!! :) 

Well... I cant say that this week was all fun and awesome.... So we just found out that Peace and her husband will be splitting up... Like forever!!! We are gonna try to meet with them one last time and talk to them about it before they make a fast decision... ITs mainly the husbands fault... He is kinda a jerk and not the easiest guy to get along with... He keeps telling me that his wife doesnt give him the respect he deserves??? I dont know im not the biggest fan of him but, I will do what i can to help out the problem... 

Besides that my week wasnt too special.. We didnt do too much just doin the same ole same ole... I thik im gonna be transfered though.. I have been here for 4 transfers now.. Thats kinda a long time! ITs my longest area... ELder Cannon will probabyl leave together.. 

Well tell ethan im really proud of him! He sounds like he is doing awesome and getting really stong! He is finially growing up hahaha! Im also super stoked that he has some friends to hang out with now!! Thats pretty crazy!!! 

Thats great news!!! Alyssa and wes finially sold the house.. Or maybe or something?? Well is sounds like progress haha! Where are they gonna live?? Thats my biggest question??

Happy Easter

Hey momma!!! :) Well this week was a good one. IT was just fun because it was Easter!! The German people dont really go all out for Easter mainly because its a religous Holliday! So they dont really like it that much. They do go all out for christmas for whatever reason but not Easter! The town just goes dead. All of the shops are shut down and there is no one out side.. Kinda crazy!! 

Well a funny experiance this week was that we got invited to go to eat with a family for Easter. The funny part is, is that the family is from south america... So they dont speak German or English... They just moved to germany about 3 months ago. I guess life in germany is a lot better than in south america. Germany does treat people that are not from germany like kings though so i would also do the same thing if i wasnt from America. But the whole eating appointment was really funny... They invited all 4 missionaries to their house and we all learned a little spanish before we went to the appointment. It was really funny the family was making fun of us the whole time because we couldnt pronounce the words right but they knew.. Kinda what we were trying to say hahah. We tried to give them a spritual thought at the end of the lesson... IT didnt work too well. I was thinkin the whole time that we needed dad because he speaks spanish!!! I wanna start learning spanish becuase someone needs to speak to this family and plus i just think it would be cool to speak 3 languages and spanish is practical too!! :) 

Well i guess something else that cool happened this week was that Peaces husband moved back into the appartment and now we are trying to teach him now.. He is a little stubbern but.. I hope we can get something going with him. Peace really needs a good strong family to come with her to church! He say that he doesnt think that he needs to be baptised in our church.. Im working on tearing that wall down.. Its a work in process.. He says that he cant find anything in the bible that says that he needs to be baptised again... I have given him a lot of refrences but i dont think that is what he needs....

Well im super happy that you all had a great easter weekend.. Its kinda crazy.. Mothersday skype is coming up now... Thats soooooo strange.. If feels like i just talked to you on christmas... Time is going by really fast... Sometimes i wish it would go a little faster... And then sometimes I wish it would slow down....

Ethan is gonna drive???... Get everyone off the road.. Are you sure he is ready?? Last i remembet him trying to drive.... Well.... It was just bad. Ahh that makes me really nervous...

Well momma... Ilove you a lot and im sooo greatful for all the things you do for me!! Im really happy you had a good Birthweek!! Im sure it was a lot fun!! Im sure its also good that everyone is back in school and give you a little time to rest... Im not sure if that is possiable with Ellie thought hahaha! Oh speaking of Ellie.. Her hair is soooo long and thick now... I cant believe it!!! She is getting soooo big!

Happy Birthday Momma

Hey there momma! Well this week was an okay week... Nothing too special is happening right now! The biggest news that we have for this week is that we finally got in contact with Peaces husband again. I ran into him at Bahnhof and talked to him for a while. I got is number and told him i would love to meet with him. He told me that he is gonna move back in with Peace today... He has been telling her that for a long time now though so we will see what happens! Peace really wants him to be a member of the church and I do too. I really think it would help out the whole family if the dad would go to church with the family. He doesnt have anything against the church and he says that he believes the church to be true because when we come over he has a really good feeling. I cant force him to come to church so im not sure what else i can do? Im gonna call him tonight and see what happens! 

Well MOMMA HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope this doesnt make me a bad son but im not sure how old you are turning... Im just gonna say that you are 30! :) How was your birthday?? Did you and dad go on a special date or something? Well I hope it went good. I bet the ladies went crazy for you in the workout class hahah! Did you get anything special or anything?? I hope it was good! Well momma i want to thank you for everything you have done for me while I have been out on my mission! You have always been there for me and always given me that little extra boost that i need every week! Your an amazing momma and the best momma that anyone could ever ask for! Love you lots momma!!! 

 Tell Sister Johnson that on the service project for the Johnsons. Its a little tricky here in Germany the germans dont really like service. they dont like to give it or get it. Funny thing is I have a service project planned for this week and I will be thinking about Amanda and Alexas the whole time. Funny how it is all working out. My district will be doing service for them. 

Well im glad that you had fun in Zions park.. Why is it that as soon as im gone you decied to do a bunch of vacations?? Is there a reason for that or something? hahahahah. Im sure the vacations will stop when i get back!! No just kidding hahaha!!! :) Im glad that dad dosent get away from the serpentine!! It will just have to follow him his whole life hahah!! :) Did the whole fam go or was it just you dad and ellie?? Just wondering?? 

Wow... Ethan does sound really busy... I cant believe it... it just seems just like the other day that was me... wow... everything just happens sooo fast... I have been thinking about that a lot lately... It seems like just the other i was hanging out with brody and mason in high school and playing football and stuff... It also just weird to hear what everyone else is up too.. It weird because my last memories of everyone is that everyone was younger and yeah... I dont know its just weird to me hahaha!  I cant believe Taylor. what happened to him did he get sick or something cuz well he looks sick. not in a bad way. he looks good like europe good. he will know what i mean.

I loved conference!!!

Hey there momma! This week was definatly different!! Well let me explain to you how my new calling so to say is. Well Im the district leader and that mean that i am the leader of  other missionaries. So a mission is split up into zones and in the zones are districts! And a district usually consists of about 3 cities and once a week all of the missionaries come together for district meeting and i have to teach missionaries how to be good missionaries and how to teach people and how do do things effectivly and i also have to set goals for the distirct and stuff like that. Every week I have to prepare a lesson for the whole district that will help them out in their missionary work! The only problem with that is, I do things a lot differently than other missionaries! I focus more on building the relationship with the person first then start teaching and most missionaries do it the other way around. We will see how that all works out!? 

 Well Elder suffert is now in dresden and I now have Elder Gheen! He is from southern utah. I dont know the name of the city hahah! He is a little different and has a really hard time on his mission. Pres said that i need to take care of him a little bit! He is a really nervous guy and doesnt know what to say to people in lessons! So i do most of the talking, That doesnt change much I have always been like that but now, I really have to take over! He is my little project right now Im trying really hard to help him out in every way i can. Im just a little nervous because he isnt showing much drive to improve... I hope i can help him out. I cant run my program by myself... Well i can but it makes things easier with 2

Wow so conference was really different. I was also really suprised that no new temples where announced.. The talks were amazing... The only part I missed was the 2nd half of the sunday message... If you want to send it to me that would be cool.. See if you can get it in both lang German and English! I cant really remember what my fav talk was... I took a crap load of notes sooo When i come home i can show you then... 

Dad.... He didnt win the diet thing... Oh sad... I hope he can give him self a little time to slow down though. It seems like he wants to slow down but he keeps giving himself things to do! hahaha
 Oh and no Momma I dont travel . I have my people come to me..
