Sept 9

Well momma. This was just another week down and almost done with the transfer again... This transfer is going by soo fast we have just had a lot going on and have been really busy. It was a little sad because we helped C move to another city and we are all gonna miss him a lot. He was always hanging out with the missionaries and going out to lunch with us and playing basketball with us. He was more of a friend than an investagator. Besides C moving, nothing really too exciting happened, we just met with a bunch of JWs people and it went good. I am really trying to find more solid investagators. Right now we have the same investagators that Bremen has had for a long time and they arent really going any where. So, I have been focousing on finding more lately. 
   

   The baptism was good he is just a really weird guy and really funny. He is just one of those guys that is sooo weird you just have to laugh. He seemed to really enjoy being baptised. Elder Hardy confermed him a member of the church yesterday. He did really good I was happy for him because Elder Hardy was really nervous to do it but he did awesome. I didnt take any part in the baptism, well, I stood in when Elder Hardy confermed a member but thats about it. 

  

   Well Im glad that everyone is doing good. I am still wonering about Ethan. I hope he is still playing hard and working hard. He just needs to realize how good he really is. I saw the picture of Ellie... It doesnt look like much has changed... I did love the bench thing in the back of the picture... IT looks really good. Looks like dad is still going hard with his crafts...

  Well momma, Im super stoked that you are hitting your 4 year mark... Thats gotta be crazy... To be honest... THat feels like forever ago... I dont know why.. IT feels like its been like 6 years... Im just sooo happy you are still going strong momma. That just kinda made me think how greatful I am for my momma... Thank you for everything you do for me momma. I dont know what I would do with out you.! 

   I am doing good momma... Not much has changed.. I just keep moving forward.. Im not sure what else to do so thats what im doing... For some reason it feels like my year mark is just right around the corner... I know its like 4 months away.. but.. these last coulple of months have gone by soooo fast... ITs getting a little excithing though... they are already starting to sell Christmas treats and getting little stands up and everything... ITs pretty cool! I might get a little fat from it though... Once you start you cant stop... I ate like 3 boxes of these chocolate things... Tis soooo good they have these cookies its covered in chocolate and on the inside there is pumpkin cookies style stuff in there... Im sorry that was a really bad discription but thats the best I can do hahah.

Hey there momma!!!! 

   
Well this week was suppose to be a good week... A lot that was suppose to happen didnt... It was a little sad because elder santiago is getting transfered.... I am gonna be honest.... Im a little mad about that... I only got one transfer with him and for the first time on my mission i feel like i have been breaking out of my shell and now he is leaving... I learned sooo much from him and he is such a good guy, I just wish we could have atleast had two transfers together. We werent the best of friends but we could have been if we could have gotten one more. 

  
 My new comp is Elder Marshall..... Im not too excited about that because I have meet the guy before and lets just say.... He is special.... I honestly dont know how else to word it... I know i can make things work but, I just wish i could have someone that is normal for a comp for more than one transfer... 

    
This week was okay i guess... We invited this new investagator to baptism this week he is a younger guy, about 19 and really strange but, he really wants to get baptised. I was super excited about it, we inveited him to baptism on tuesday and we were suppose to have another appointment on thursday but, he didnt show up. We also had a good appointment with this old guy named Gi! He is way cool, he has been an investagator in Breman for  a long time but, I havent met him yet because he has been on vacation the whole time i have been here. He is a little hard because he is really good and he keeps all of the commitments and does what we say but, he is having a really hard time recieving an answer. So we are working on it#

   
 This week was a little sad for Santiago because he loves it here in Bremen and he is going to a really small area way far east! He has been here for about 7 months and loved every second of it. I dont blame it Bremen is a dream city! The assistants told us he is going to this small city with not too much going on there because he is a really good finder. He is kinda a legend at finding! 

  

Well momma... I love you sooo much and i have those miss my momma days expecially right now... I have been getting really home sick these last two weeks and I hope it goes away... Its just been a little hard lately ya know...

Hey momma. This week was an okay week i guess. Not really anything happened till yesterday. We had all three of our lessons yesterday in the chruch. Our first lesson was with the family that randomly showed up to church one day. I dont know how to say thier last name because they are from Iran and its really hard to say but the guys name is A and the ladies name is O. THey are really cool they are pretty much members already, they have their own bench in the sacrament meeting hahah. Ever sense they moved in they havent missed a day of church and they come to all of the actitvities. Our first lesson with them was a little hard because we dont speak persian and they dont speak much german or english but, the next lesson we had with them was good because we have a member that speaks persian and it was a lot better. They are making good progress but they do have a lot of questions but, I think questions is good, it tells me that they really want to find out what we are teaching.

  
So we got back in contact with C this sunday. He didnt come to church but he called us and said that he wanted to meet with us!! so we meet with him but, still having the same problems as last time but he is making progress. At the end of our lesson he actually prayed and it was really cool so i think thats what we will build off of with him. His problem is that he wont keep the word of wisdom until he knows the law actually comes from god. Its weird, he doesnt even drink that much and it wouldnt even be hard for him to give that up but, he just doesnt believe that this law could come from god and ect... 

 
 It sounds like the fam is doing awesome. I hope ethan is okay.. I hope he donesnt start to think he is worse than he is. He is such a good football player and want him to know he could go some where if he would work at it a little more. Thats way cool that stephen got to show dad all of that stuff from his mission. I hope that i can do that with you someday in germany. THat would be sooo much fun. I want to show you Breman it is the coolest city ever, a lot of famous people stay here acutally in this really nice hotel in Breman. I guess one of the other Elders in Breman saw his fav band hanging out in front of the hotel?? So Bremen is awesome. 

  
Well me I doing good. Its Monday again so that means i get to grow my beard again!!! ITs awesome, and today we are having par core p day!! So we are gonna run through the city and jump off stuff and be awesome! So its been really good lately, just miss you all a bunch! Oh and tell katie HI when you take her out!!

HEy there momma!

 

THis week was a bit different! So, our best investagator (C) We kinda said good bye to him on saturday! Well what happened is, he is a really smart guy and he wants to know everything before he wants to make a decision.... It is frustrating because if that we wont keep commitments and´he said he doesnt believe that the comandments such as word of wisdom and law of chastity dont really come from god and that they come from man. He has a hard time reading in the book of mormon because he wants to read the bible first then the koron then the book of mormon. He is already half way done with the old testament and he could be done with the book of mormon if you compare how much he has read from the bible. But, he said he was gonna go to a catholic church yesterday then come to our chruch again this next sunday so we will see if he found anything. We didnt completly say good bye to him because he has a really good friend in our ward and they meet almost everyday and have bible study together. The members name is nicko and he is a way good teacher and he helps christof a lot. And christof will still come to ward sport every saturday so we will still see him every satruday. We kinda had to take a break with him because he wont keep commitments. Edler santiago has been meeting with him for a long time and said " I have been meeting with this guy for 5 months now and I have tried everything except giving him a break". SO we hope o get in contact with him again.

   

Wow, It sounds like everytihgn is still going good! I hope ethan is happy with football... He worries me how hard he can be on himself sometimes. I hope he doesnt compare himself to me... Thats not good for him... HE is Ethan Schmidt and I am Brady Schmidt, he should do things his way and not try to be like me, we are completly different people. Plus... He is a ten times better football player than i ever was, if he is comparing himself to me than he underestamating himself. I just know he can be so good and by beeing ethan schmidt not trying to be Brady schmidt.

   

Well, I got your package last tuesday!!!! It was sooo cool thanks soooo much mom! The skittles were awesome... Thats like the biggest think missionaries out here miss soooo much because all of the skittles here are german made and dont really taste as good.

   

Well momma thats about my week not too much else happend. Oh but.... I love you  guys all so much.

Summer is almost over

HEy momma this week was really good actually! This week we found 5 new investagators!!!! I cant believe it!!! IT was soooo cool. We found 3 of them doing a street display. It was really cool we had about 15 missionaries there and there was a lot of missionareis singing and giving sruff out! IT was really cool we found this guy named I will call him 1 and I think he is a little bit insane but the gosple will help him hahaha. We met #1on saturday and had a second appointment with him on sunday. He is really weird but he said after our appointment he had goose bumps! SO that was cool. THe other cool experiance was on Sunday. We had a family just randomly walk into the church and said that they wanted to hear about the chruch. The other was this guy, he is a little bit older but he also just walked into the church and said that he wanted to hear about the chuch. So I sat with the old man and Santiago sat with the family and we taught they during the meeting! It was a really good week! 

   

WOW..... sounds like a bunch has happened this week? I have been wondering thought who has been talking about me being good at football? Ethan or DAd? Yeah anyways.... I cant wait to get an email from Alyssa i havent heard from her for the longest time. I am also glad to hear that Ethan is happy with the decision he made to be on the other team. I was worried that he was gonna get down on himself because he wasnt on the A team or something. Im glad he knows its not him and its the dump coaches fault that he is on this team. Wait.... What??? Jimmy died....? What.... Thats soooo sad.... I know i never really knew the guy but still thats super sad... How is dad doing wiht all of that? I hope he is okay... 

    

Oh another cool eyperiance we had was that one of our investagators #3 Invited us to his parents house and made us food. IT was way cool because we were able to teach his whole family. His fam was super nice and gave  us a bunch of gifts and stuff but his fam wasnt too intrested.... But, the goal was to have #3 kinda teach his fam and not us becasue we wanted him the realize that he knows more than he thinks he does. He said his problem right now is that he doent know enough and stuff like that, so we kinda had him teach his family. The plan worked perfectly and it was really cool. we hope to get him on a baptism date this week.

Bremen is Awesome

HEy momma how is everything going!? Well Im gonna start by answering all of your questions! First off yes everything is going just great!! :) Well another thing..... Honestly..... I think you should have left him on the a team and let him prove him self! But, im not totally sure because im not there and i dont know all of the details? Im sure he will have a great season though! 

   

Well momma this week was good just like every week here. Bremen is really the city of miracles! I love it here I love the members and we work really good with the members and we have had really good success! Well you said somehting about a dream and this week our investagator had a really weird dream.... He said in his dream he was in the chruch and he was taking the sacrament and the water was black and the water was dirty!?? Me and my comp we thought about and we think its because of taking the sacrament unworthly. HE loves the sacrament and loves the idea of being cleasned and stuff but he has a problem with the word of wisdom so we will tell him what he needs to do and then it is his choice!!! Oh by the was his name is Christof! HE is way cool and he comes to like every church activity! 

   

Well speaking of football..... Im gonna be a coach here in Breman for the american football team here in Breman!? The Bishop has a son and he plays american football and he said he would love it if me and Elder Hardy ( another elder in our apartment)  would come and train the team?? Elder Hardy was the starting right gaurd for snow collage and he is was funny. The Bishop is way into football and is really excited for me and Elder Hardy to coach the team?? We have to ask Pres if is that is okay first but i think it would be soooo much fun!!!

  

   

WEll besides all of that it was a normal week we are still doing great here! Oh and i have a question.... So in our ward here the Bishop said there is no such thing as an activity person calling thing? But, that is your calling at home? So im just confused manybe you could ask Bishop Nickolas and see what he knows? 

    

    

Oh one more thing Can i get Alyssa's email or address or something so i can have contact with her! I have been wanting her email or address for like..... My whole mission..... So if you could send that to me next week that would be awesome!!!
